How to Use Review in kloudboard

kloudboard has built-in file review — timestamped comments, annotations, voice notes, and approvals directly on any video or design. No separate app, no re-uploading.

Open a file

Click any file to open it in the review viewer — from Drive, a board card attachment, or a file shared in chat. The viewer shows the file with a comment panel on the side.

Leave timestamped comments

For video, comments are tied to the current playback position. Scrub to the right moment, type your note, and hit Enter. Readers can click any comment to jump to that timestamp.

For images and PDFs, comments are tied to the current view or page.

Annotate

Click the annotation tool to draw directly on the content — shapes, freehand marks, highlights. Attach a comment to any annotation. Works on both video frames and images.

Voice notes

Click the microphone icon to record a voice note instead of typing. Gets attached to the current timestamp or view.

Mentions and approvals

Use @mentions to notify specific team members. When you're done reviewing, mark the file as Approved or Needs Changes — visible to the whole team.

New versions can be compared side by side. Comment threads carry over between versions.

Supported files

  • Video — MP4, MOV, WebM
  • Images — PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, SVG
  • Documents — PDF, PSD previews

No setup required. Upload a file anywhere in your workspace and click to review.
